Pre Season T20 Tournament

Wicket Sports is excited to announce that we are planning the 5th Annual Pre Season T20 Tournament happening April 3, 2026 to April 26, 2026 in Victoria, BC!

The Fun Stuff

The Pre Season T20 Tournament is back for the 2026 Season! After the success of the 2025 tournament, this year is going to be bigger and better then ever.

The Opening Ceremony will be on Friday April 3rd, 2026 before the first game. There will be cash prizes and trophies for the Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Player of the Series, and trophies for every Man of the Match, livestreaming, photos, a BBQ to end the tournament and kick off the 2026 Season. The proceeds from the BBQ will be going to support the Wicket Maidens Women’s Cricket Team.

Wicket Sports will be providing Tournament Umpiring Jackets and Hats to the Umpires for the regular games.

Registration

Registration is now full and we have started a waitlist. If we are able to secure additional grounds, we will open up the wait list and increase the number of teams. If you would like to add your team to the waitlist, please email WicketSportsCanada@gmail.com.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Pre Season Tournament! Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. We have currently capped registration at 16 teams, however as we confirm ground availability, we may be able to open up one or two more spots and will be taking a wait listed teams. The deadline to register is Sunday February 15th, 2026 at 9pm PST.

Tournament Format

All teams will play a minimum of 4 games each. The top 8 teams will move onto quarter finals, from there, the top 4 teams will move to semi-finals and the top 2 will play for first place in the finals on April 26, 2026 followed by a BBQ, Trophies and Closing Ceremony.

Registration Fee

Tournament fee is $600.00 and includes registration, 1 BBQ Ticket for each of the 11 players (ticket is good for 1 hot dog, burger or veggie burger and a beverage).

As part of the registration, we are going to be doing individual media announcements for all of the teams with optional individual and team photos, Instagram tags, facebook announcements and more!
